This particular piece of art stood out to me because of the eyeballs at the top of the image. In class, we talked about antonymic exchange and were instructed to post pictures opposite to what we saw on the screen. In this piece of art, we can see that there is one eyeball completely intact with another one below that is falling apart. As we look around the entire artwork, we can see a running theme of “parts to a whole” which is something I thought about when we were doing the antonymic exchange exercise in class.
