The photographer’s initial intention behind these mirror portraits was to expand the visual space in his photos. It has since evolved into “a study in self-actualization and friendship in an ever-expanding, complex, and individualistic industry.”
In class, during our conversations about the Gestalt studies, we have discussed and described the ways our eyes move across each image/design and where we are immediately drawn. When I looked at these images for the first time I immediately noticed the way my eyes traveled across the photographs to the various faces reflected in the mirrors.
