In class, we saw the evolution of the Gmail logo and how it slowly evolves into its trademark design now. I decided to look into which logos are the most recognizable in the world and was unsurprised to discover that Nike and Coca Cola rank in the top spots. Coca Cola’s transformation from just a simple black and white print with a plain font to incorporating the wave and more intricate font. Over time, the placement of the trademark logo was also moved to allow the Coca Cola letters to be the main focus and attraction. However, overall I think the logo did not change drastically over the last 120 years which ultimately led it to be one of the world’s most easily recognized logos.
