Art Inspired by Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities

For the blog post this week I was curious to explore what other ways Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities have been depicted and interpreted. I came across this article in which the author describes how captivating the book Invisible Cities is and shares different art portraying some of the cities Calvino describes. Given that our project for Invisible Cities was more an abstract interpretation of Calvino’s cities, I was intrigued to see more literal depictions of these imaginary cities.
