As I’m wrapping up my artwork inspired by Italo Calvino’s “Invisible Cities,” I was curious to also take a look at what other artists have produced based on the description of a city in the book. I was able to find this piece, which was recently submitted in July, and I’m amazed by the detail and take the artist took. Not only were they able to provide a ton of great, small features (ex. look closely at the background, and the smiley faces on the tree!), but they also used a ton of colors to drive their vision of memory home.
You can take a closer look of the piece here!
