When I came across this cartoon from sustainably illustrated by Alex Magnin, I instantly thought of our project, combining art and storyboarding for a public service announcement. In this cartoon, there is a powerful parallel between the women buying cheap clothing and factories underpaying workers to achieve those prices that serves to illuminate the disconnection between many people and their clothes. As I am animating my PSA on the destruction of fast fashion, it was interesting to see how other artists were tackling this issue in their work.
