After last class’s discussion on digital processing and how it can be used to create art, I was curious to look at how other artists have used technology and algorithms to create art. I found this really engaging and aesthetic collection that was created using an algorithm, inspired by bird swarms. To generate the digital paintings, the creators asked people to recall an emotional experience, and they used a device to extract the participant’s brainwaves.
