On Medium, I found an article that listed six artists who are turning data into art projects: Golan Levin, David McCandless, Natalie Miebach, Aaron Koblin, Chris Jordan, and Oscar Sharp and Ross Goodwin. Of the six, I particularly liked Natalie Miebach’s artwork and thought that it was really relevant to our data portrait project. This artist takes data from storms to make sculptures as well as the wind speeds, wind patterns, and weather temperature to make music scores.
